LKQ raises the bar with new LKQ Collision Kit

The largest and most competitive glue repair solution on the market – as bodyshops are leaning towards repair over replace and vehicle owners are looking for cost effective solutions.
Despite a small dip in the first three months of 2025, the average car insurance premium continues to remain well above where it was two years ago*, and recent research by Aviva found that one in eight (18%) people would rather repair a vehicle than replace it**.
The new LKQ Collision Kit is designed to offer bodyshops a quality, cost-effective alternative to replacement parts and help them open new revenue streams, while reducing key-to-key times, maximising throughput and boosting profits.
The kit is available for £3,995+VAT (ROI: 4,795 € +VAT) and is designed for fixing dents and damage using glue-based repair methods such as pull-to-paint. Each kit includes 220 pieces including tools and essential accessories.
Bespoke attachments tailored to specific repair needs are also included, along with advanced equipment such as lateral dent pullers for precise, high-quality dent removal.
As part of the kit, bodyshops can choose a workstation trolly for shop use, or a cart system for mobile van operation. Optional extras are also available to purchase, including a four strip LED light and stand, and a 36” heavy duty lateral puller kit, which is free-of-charge with LKQ Collision Kits purchased up until 30 June 2025.
To get the most out of the kit, an intensive one-day LKQ Collision Kit Introduction training course is available through the LKQ Academy – the UK’s largest automotive training provider – for £349+VAT (ROI: price on request) for a maximum of four attendees.
Delegates on the course will be shown how to use the LKQ Collision Kit to perfect techniques such as using the glue system for pull-to-paint repairs, restoring panel gaps to OEM standards, applying lateral tension pullers effectively and gaining EV and hybrid repair expertise.
For those looking to expand their knowledge and skills even further, the two-day LKQ Collision Kit Advanced training is available at £649+VAT (ROI: price on request) for a maximum of four attendees. It extends to advanced tools and techniques including use of the lateral tension bar and pulling towers, LED line board for precision dent analysis and ways to minimise the need for deep filling and tackle medium to large dents.
Jason Luter, IRP Training Manager at LKQ Bodyshop said: “Our new LKQ Collision Kit and associated training is a standout in the industry and available to bodyshops at a highly competitive price. This means our customers can expand their services and deliver even greater value to their customers while driving sustainable and profitable growth.
“We introduced our new LKQ Collision Kit in response to industry challenges. It builds on our recent intelligent repair proposition which launched late last year, with kits and training designed to guarantee quality and low-cost repairs – particularly as more motorists choose to pay-out-of-pocket due to rising insurance premiums and higher excesses.
“By offering our customers access to the largest and most competitive glue repair solution on the market, we are leveraging our brilliance and difference to help bodyshops to open new revenue streams and meet market demand.”
