LKQ, the bodyshop industry’s only complete service provider, is offering bodyshops the chance to win up to £500 off workshop equipment when they book training through the LKQ Academy. 

To enter the prize draw, entrants will need to book any practical training course worth over £199* with LKQ Academy, the aftermarket’s leading training provider. The bodyshop listed against an attendee will receive one entry for each eligible training course booked. Courses must be booked between 21st February and 31st March 2025. 

The winning bodyshop will be awarded £500 off their spend, with the selected runner-up also receiving £100 off their spend. The money is redeemable against any product in LKQ’s Bodyshop or Workshop Solutions catalogue, which includes bodyshop essentials such as dent pullers and spot welders, through to cost saving equipment in LKQ’s sustainability range. The winner and runner-up will be notified by their LKQ Account Manager in the first week of April 2025.

LKQ Academy offers more than 80 different courses across 30 training centres and covers everything from technical skills to business management. This includes essential bodyshop skills and accreditations such as Panel Preparation and Advanced Refinish Application, Polishing Oven and Rectification Processes, Plastic Repair Process and Glass Repair. 

Learners can also benefit from an industry-leading program of Intelligent Repair courses, which focus on topics such as trim repair and paintless dent removal. IMI-accredited EV and hybrid training and a first-of-its-kind Introduction to Sustainability in the Bodyshop course are also eligible.

The competition comes as LKQ Academy continues to expand its support for the independent aftermarket - with a customer base of more than 21,000 registered technicians, a new flagship site at its West Midlands HQ in Tamworth, and other new sites in Glasgow and Manchester.
