LKQ UK and Ireland’s Bodyshop division – the most comprehensive end-to-end service provider to the UK and Irish collision repair industry – has joined I Love Claims (ILC) as a Motor Corporate Partner

The partnership will see the two organisations share market insights to further support better outcomes for all parties involved in motor insurance claims.

Account managers from LKQ can actively support repairers with ongoing challenges including:  managing work volumes and rising costs; navigating new standards such as Accident Repair Industry Environment Standard (ARIES), which replaced the PAS 2060 as the sector’s environmental standard last year; and access to the training and technical support needed to enable safe, affordable and sustainable mobility.

LKQ also offers a combination of original equipment (OE), aftermarket and Platinum Approved Parts – with all Platinum Approved parts backed by a lifetime warranty and insurer approval.

By combining parts, diagnostics, training and technical support, LKQ simplifies the repair chain for insurers and repairers, helping maintain consistency, traceability and compliance in an increasingly complex claims environment.

Chris O’Rourke, Managing Director, LKQ Specialist Business, said: “The future of claims handling depends on collaboration – and that’s what the ILC community is all about: common data, consistent standards and collective accountability.

“We're proud to be the first supplier partner to join, because delivering better outcomes requires the entire sector to work together. By integrating our end-to-end service – from parts identification and diagnostics to technical support and training – we can help insurers and repairers navigate complexity and ensure industry compliance, while keeping costs down and standards high.

“We look forward to working even closer with the sector through this new partnership.”

Mark Hadaway, Content Director at ILC, added: “Welcoming LKQ UK and Ireland on board as a Motor Corporate Partner is another key step in the continued growth and development of the ILC community.

“Bringing a new ‘distribution’ angle to our portfolio of shared intelligence helps further strengthen our collaborative, better tomorrow ethos.”

LKQ Bodyshop’s division is part of the LKQ UK and Ireland group of businesses, that also comprises LKQ Euro Car Parts, LKQ Leisure and Marine and LKQ Digraph. In turn, LKQ UK and Ireland is part of LKQ Europe, which operates throughout 18 European markets and employs around 26,000 colleagues.
