LKQ Euro Car Parts has announced a new partnership with Micheldever which will see the motor factor act as the primary aftermarket supplier for Protyre over the next five years.

Protyre is the UK’s fastest growing supplier and fitter of tyres, with a wider service offering including MOTs, vehicle servicing, wheel alignment and air con maintenance. With 185 branches across the country, Protyre boasts one of the UK’s largest DVSA-approved networks of test centres.

The new agreement will see LKQ Euro Car Parts granted first line supplier status with Protyre set to benefit from the parts supplier’s extensive distribution network that sees 85% of orders delivered within the hour to most places in the UK and Ireland.

Alongside LKQ Euro Car Parts’ unparalleled catalogue of products, Protyre branches will also benefit from priority access to the LKQ Academy - the aftermarket’s leading training platform - to aid the continued professional development of employees as the aftermarket continues to evolve.

Moving forwards, the partnership will also see the two companies seek to collaborate in tackling wider challenges, including the transition to net zero
