Mel Lowe serves as Interim Transformation Chief Financial Officer for LKQ UK & Ireland, alongside her role as European Senior Finance Director for LKQ Europe. In these dual leadership positions, she leads strategic transformation across the UK & Ireland business while continuing to drive commercial finance and organisational capability across Europe.

With over 20 years’ experience in finance, including eight years in senior finance leadership roles, Mel has built a reputation for using finance as a catalyst for transformation, helping businesses simplify complexity, strengthen performance, and deliver sustainable growth.

Throughout her career at LKQ Europe, Mel has led strategic initiatives spanning finance transformation, commercial performance, and organisational development. She has played a key role in strengthening the European FP&A and Commercial Finance function, creating a more connected, commercially focused team, and embedding finance as a trusted strategic partner to the business.

Passionate about developing future leaders, Mel has championed graduate and early-career development, mentored emerging talent and helped build high-performing finance teams across Europe. Beyond her professional responsibilities, she actively supports the automotive industry’s charity Ben, taking part in fundraising initiatives, including the Industry Leader Challenge across the Sahara Desert.
